Brand Identity & Strategy

A brand isn't a logo. It's the reason people remember you.

We build brand identities and strategy systems for businesses ready to compete on more than price. Naming, positioning, visual identity, and the guidelines that hold it all together.

Most brands don't have a brand.
They have a logo and hope.

Without strategy, even great design fails to land. Without design, even great strategy stays invisible. Without guidelines, both fall apart the moment a junior designer or an external vendor touches the work. Brand identity isn't decoration — it's the operating system every customer touchpoint runs on.

Everything you need to launch or relaunch a brand.

Each engagement is scoped to your stage and ambition. A typical full brand identity project includes:

Brand Strategy & Positioning

The foundation. Audience research, competitive analysis, positioning statement, brand pillars, and tone of voice. Where the brand stands and why anyone should care.

Brand Naming (if applicable)

For new brands or sub-brands. Naming workshops, longlists, shortlists, trademark screening, and final selection with rationale.

Logo & Visual Identity System

The primary mark, secondary marks, monograms, and lockups. Built as a system, not a single logo — designed to work across every size, every surface, every context.

Typography, Colour & Visual Language

The full visual toolkit — type families, colour palette, supporting graphic elements, photography direction, and illustration style.

Brand Application Mockups

Your new identity applied to the things that matter — packaging, social media, business cards, website hero, vehicle wraps, store signage. So you can see it in the wild before launch.

Brand Guidelines Document

The rulebook. A polished PDF that lets anyone — internal team, vendors, future agencies — apply the brand correctly without you in the room.

A four-stage process.
Roughly six weeks, end to end.

We sit down with you, your team, and your customers. Workshops, interviews, and audits. We dig into your competitors, your category, and your ambition. By the end of week one, we know the business better than most internal teams do.

Who we build brands for.

  • Founders launching a new brand who want a complete identity system from day one — not a placeholder logo they'll regret in 18 months.

  • Established businesses ready for a rebrand that have outgrown their current identity and need to feel relevant again.

  • Brands entering new categories or markets that need positioning and identity work to compete in unfamiliar territory.

  • D2C brands and product companies where the visual identity directly impacts shelf presence, packaging, and conversion.

Quote mark

“Most brands underestimate how much a well-built identity system saves them in the long run — every campaign, every collateral, every social post becomes 3x faster to produce because the rules are already set."

Things people usually ask about brand identity & strategy.

Typically 6 weeks for a full identity system. Faster if scope is tight (e.g., logo and primary applications only). Longer if naming is involved or if there are multiple sub-brands to design.

Yes. Once final payment is made, all rights to the brand assets transfer to you in full. We don't retain ownership of any client work.

Absolutely. Rebrands are often more strategic than new brand builds — there's existing equity to preserve, existing customers to manage, and existing assets to migrate.

Yes, when needed. Naming is a separate workstream — typically 2 weeks before identity design begins. We run naming workshops, generate longlists, screen for trademarks, and present shortlists with rationale.

We don't take on logo-only projects. A logo without strategy and a system around it tends to be a short-term solution that needs to be redone within 18 to 24 months. We focus on full identity work where the investment compounds.

Yes. After identity is delivered, our Graphic Design and Print Design teams can apply the brand across social media, ad creatives, packaging, print collateral, and store signage.
